About

I love robotics, storytelling, and working on problems that connect engineering with human dignity, especially in global health.

My robotics journey began in 7th grade on my school's VEX team, fueled by late nights, iteration cycles, and more Black Label Mountain Dew than I should admit. Competing at the World Championships, where my team placed 3rd and 5th, shaped both my passion for robotics and how I reason about intelligent machines. I value elegant mechanical design, robust control, scientific rigor, and intelligence that feels intuitive.

Professionally, I work at the intersection of product definition, system architecture, and validation. I translate real-world needs into technical requirements, build prototypes to de-risk early ideas, and help mature hardware-software systems into deployable capabilities.

That same systems mindset has also led me into global health. In Pakistan, where my family is from, I help lead therapeutic food development and clinical trial efforts supporting treatment programs for severely malnourished children. The work brings together science, regulation, operations, and public health.

Outside of work, I train mixed martial arts, tinker, read and tell stories, and drink a lot of tea. I'm also drawn to anything that lets me compete, learn, and improve.

"Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty."
